Job Description

  1. Assist with daily/weekly reconciliations between the external and internal sources, such as bank statements and accounting schedules.
  2. Perform data checks and exception tracking:
  • Identify missing or inconsistent data.
  • Investigate breaks and prepare clear issue logs.
  • Escalate items promptly with supporting evidence.
  1. Support expense and fee tracking, including management fees, fund expenses, and payment/invoice documentation, ensuring completeness for audit trail.
  2. Prepare basic financial analysis in Excel (e.g., variance checks, trend tracking, simple KPIs, summary schedules) to support daily operations and periodic reporting.
  3. Assist in preparing internal management reports and investor reporting support by compiling figures, updating tables/charts, and performing consistency checks.
  4. Maintain organized working papers and documentation aligned with internal controls and audit requirements.
  5. Provide ad hoc support for month-end/quarter-end activities and process improvement tasks.

Internship Requirements

Undergraduate student in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.

Proficient in Excel (common formulas; PivotTables are a plus) and basic PowerPoint skills.

Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to meet deadlines.

Good communication skills and willingness to learn.

Preferred

Prior internship, project, or campus experience in finance/accounting.

Familiarity with basic accounting concepts and financial statements
