Job Description

  1. Participate in the development of analytical methods for mass spectrometry characterization of protein purification intermediates, drug substances/products (including molecular weight, N/C-terminal amino acid sequencing, disulfide bond pairing, N/O-glycan profiling, conjugation site/rate/ratio, impurity identification, etc.), complete relevant quality studies, and support upstream/downstream process development and quality comparability studies for product process changes.
  2. Participate in other structural characterization analyses (e.g., isoelectric point – IEF/cIEF/icIEF, DSC, circular dichroism – CD, Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy – FTIR).
  3. Assist with HPLC-based physicochemical testing to support process development.
  4. Conduct testing of process/product development samples (including protein content, SDS-PAGE/SEC-HPLC purity, Western blot, DLS particle size/distribution, glycan analysis, etc.).

Internship Requirements

  1. Major in Analytical Chemistry, Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Analysis, or related fields (Master’s degree preferred).
  2. Familiar with HPLC techniques; experience in HPLC analysis of biologics is preferred.
  3. Only accepting soon-to-be graduates and fresh graduates.
